Doctrine and Covenants 126:1-3

1 Dear and well-beloved brother, “Oran McKay Lawrence”, verily thus saith the Lord unto you: My servant “Elder Lawrence”, it is no more required at your hand to leave your family as in times past, for your offering is acceptable to me. 2 I have seen your labor and toil in journeyings for my name. 3 I therefore command you to send my word abroad, and take special care of your family from this time, henceforth and forever. Amen.

2 John 1:12

12 Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.

Alma 17: 2-3

2..."I do" rejoice exceedingly to see "you"; and what "adds" more to "my" joy, "you are" still "my son" in the Lord; yea, and "you have" waxed strong in the knowledge of the truth; for "you are a man" of a sound understanding and "have" searched the scriptures diligently, that "you" might know the word of God. 3 But this is not all; "you have" given "yourself" to much prayer, and fasting; therefore "you have" the spirit of prophecy, and the spirit of revelation, and when "you've" taught, "you've" taught with "the" power and authority of God.

Doctrine and Covenants 14:8

And it shall come to pass, that if you shall ask the Father in my name, in faith believing, you shall receive the Holy Ghost, which giveth utterance, that you may stand as a witness of the things of which you shall both hear and see, and also that you may declare repentance unto this generation.

Doctrine and Covenants 112:14

Now, I say unto you, and what I say unto you, I say unto all the Twelve: Arise and gird up your loins, take up your cross, follow me, and feed my sheep.

Doctrine and Covenants 39:12-13

12 And it shall come to pass that power shall rest upon thee; thou shalt have great faith, and I will be with thee and go before thy face. 13 Thou art called to labor in my vineyard, and to build up my church, and to bring forth Zion, that it may rejoice upon the hills and flourish.

Romans 8:28-31

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose . 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
